Model Selection Guide

MEM recognises that commercial and industrial surge suppressor applications cover a wide range. To accommodate these requirements, we offer a broad array of AC power, data and telecommunications models of the I.T. Protector® from MEM.

Many factors influence the selection of the right Protector® model. Alarm Remote Module
Many applications require remote suppressor status indication to advise users of suppression failure and power or phase loss via a visual and audible indication system such as the Alarm Remote Module, ARM-3. Compatible with all alarm capable units in The Protector® range, the ARM-3 will continuously monitor up to 24 suppressors on each of four zones, allowing a total of 96 units to be monitored simultaneously via a single unit.

Individual Load Models

PLC's, process controllers, fire and security alarm panels, variable speed/frequency drives, CNC controlled machinery, power supplies, and other similar sensitive mission critical commercial and industrial loads require clean power to operate properly. Unfortunately, these systems operate in electrically dirty, transient rich environments. They are often in close proximity to transient generating sources, and in many cases, produce the damaging transients themselves through normal operation.
