The First True Global Circuit Breaker Family
Eaton Series G Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) provide unmatched performance in a dramatically more compact package than standard circuit breakers or comparable fusible devices. Eaton MCCBs can be configured in cascade rated systems, allowing the use of lower interruption circuit breakers downstream, which leads to lower system cost. While meeting IEC 60947-2 service and interrupting ratings, these breakers provide unmatched flexibility by employing a wide variety of trip units including fixed thermal-magnetic, adjustable-thermal adjustablemagnetic, and electronic options.

Eaton MCCBs are available in five frame sizes in ratings from 16 to 2500 amperes and in interrupting capacities up to 100 kA at 415V AC. Standard calibration is at 40°C with optional 50°C factory calibration available for applications where higher ambient temperatures are encountered. Eaton MCCBs use patented contact conductor designs featuring high-speed blow-open action that results in superior performance when high level fault currents produce extraordinary electromechanical forces.
